DESCRIPTION:Live & Virtual Session\nNovember 4 – 5:30pm – 7:00pm\nLocation: 424 Frederick Avenue\, Sewickley\, PA 15143 or Zoom (link to be sent as workshop approaches)\nCost: $25 per attendee \nAbout the Program\nHosted by psychologist\, Dr. Lenore Melmeyer. Join this supportive parent group to learn how ADHD can affect a child’s executive functioning skills\, including attention\, organization\, planning\, emotional regulation\, and task completion. Participants will explore the important role parents play in strengthening these skills and leave with practical\, everyday strategies to help their children build confidence\, independence\, and success at home\, at school\, and beyond. \nThis parent group is designed for families raising children and teens with ADHD. ADHD is more than inattention\, low motivation\, or impulsivity—it reflects challenges in the development of executive functioning skills. This session helps parents better understand these challenges and provides practical tools to support their child’s growth. \nEach session includes a 60-minute presentation (with some video content)\, followed by a guided Q&A discussion tailored to the needs of participating families.
