Getting Started FAQ

What ages of children are served?

We see children ages 2 through 18.

What should I bring with me?

You will complete a parent history upon your arrival, so any materials that will help you answer the questions would be helpful, such as a baby book, health records, copies of recent reports, an IEP, a list of current medications, and any augmentative devices the child typically wears, such as eyeglasses or hearing aids.

Also, please bring your insurance card and be prepared to pay your portion of the cost of the visit (such as a copay, coinsurance or deductible), for those services that are eligible for insurance reimbursement. For more information about insurance at Laughlin, please see the Financial Aid and Insurance section accessed via the button on the top left of this page.

Do I need to stay while my child has his or her appointment?

We ask that you do not leave the Center premises while a minor child is attending an appointment. We have a comfortable waiting area for you during the visit.

What are your hours of operation?

The Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm. Not all services are available at all times; contact the Center for more specific information.

Are you accessible for clients or visitors in wheelchairs?

Yes, the Center is compliant with ADA requirements.
