Sharon Campbell, M.Ed., NCC, LPC

Director/Therapist

Sharon Campbell, M.Ed., NCC, LPC has been managing the department for the past decade. Sharon is an outpatient therapist with experience in community mental health, and educational settings from preschool to young adult programs. Sharon enjoys working with children of all ages and helping them reach their goals. Sharon is a Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). She also uses techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy to help families manage difficulties. Sharon likes to collaborate with her multidisciplinary colleagues at Laughlin, or others in the community, to best meet the needs of the child.

 


Corie Edwards M.S., LPC

Therapist

Corie is a former intern of the LCC Psychology department, and a graduate from Carlow University. Corie’s clinical experience consists of time as a therapeutic staff support for wrap around services, a care coordinator, a group leader and an individual therapist for an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization program as well as outpatient individual and family counseling. Corie is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and has much experience working with children, teens, and families. In addition to PCIT skills, Corie utilizes CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) approaches in session.


Gail Mangan, Ph.D.

Psychologist

Gail Mangan, Ph.D. trained in clinical psychology at Ohio University and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has worked as a licensed psychologist in the Pittsburgh area for over 20 years. She has practiced in a variety of settings including specialized outpatient clinics, approved private schools, intensive home-based treatment, and private practice. Her training and practice have a specialized focus on children, adolescents, and families.  Dr. Mangan has worked with a variety of special populations including children and adolescents with autism, preschool aged children, and children with significant behavioral difficulties.  Dr. Mangan is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy and is a Child Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) facilitator.


Lenore Melmeyer, Ph.D.

Psychologist

Lenore Melmeyer, Ph.D. was trained in developmental psychology & has worked w/ preteens, teens and their families at LCC for over 20 years. While she has worked w/ a broad range of concerns, she has focused particularly on adolescents w/ ADHD, academic, anxiety, and/or adoption related issues.  Dr. Melmeyer takes a collaborative approach with parents and their teens to help them work together whenever possible to achieve their goals.  She uses various modalities that may range from cognitive behavioral, dialectic, family/interpersonal, to expressive (art) techniques.


Dr. Kristie Zoller

Psychologist

Dr. Zoller trained at the University Park campus of The Pennsylvania State University and California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA. She has worked as a licensed psychologist in the Pittsburgh area for 10 years, practicing in hospital, primary care, and community mental health settings. She specializes in working with children and adolescents with a variety of mental and behavioral health needs, particularly the psychological and neuropsychological assessment of very young children through early adulthood.

Dr. Zoller is thrilled to join Laughlin Children’s Center team of astute and skilled clinicians and continuing to serve the community by providing psychological and neuropsychological testing and outpatient therapy services. She is particularly excited to continue her expertise in working to assess and treat very young children with special needs while also exploring new avenues of assessment and treatment with the full spectrum of the child and adolescent population.
