Speech Services

Laughlin Children’s Center is offering its Gateway to Language screenings, in-person on Friday, May 21 from 9am-3pm.

Does your child have difficulty:

  • Following directions?
  • Responding and answering questions?
  • Speaking clearly so others can understand?
  • Verbalizing thoughts & needs?
  • Making and keeping friends?
  • Having a conversation?

Gateway to Language screenings determine whether your child has reached expected developmental levels in speech and language and if there are any hearing or vocal quality issues. Screenings are a pass/fail procedure to identify children who require further communication assessment or referral to another professional.

Screenings are $10. Please call to schedule.
