Laughlin Children’s Center is offering its Gateway to Language screenings, in-person on Friday, May 21 from 9am-3pm.
Does your child have difficulty:
- Following directions?
- Responding and answering questions?
- Speaking clearly so others can understand?
- Verbalizing thoughts & needs?
- Making and keeping friends?
- Having a conversation?
Gateway to Language screenings determine whether your child has reached expected developmental levels in speech and language and if there are any hearing or vocal quality issues. Screenings are a pass/fail procedure to identify children who require further communication assessment or referral to another professional.
