The Board of Directors of Laughlin Children’s Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Chrissy Dale as Executive Director, effective September 1, 2025.
Chrissy was selected following a national search that attracted a highly competitive pool of candidates. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in education, counseling, and nonprofit management. Most recently, she served as CEO of the Institute for Therapy through the Arts in Evanston, Illinois, where she led the organization through a period of exceptional growth, securing major grant funding and expanding access to creative arts therapies across more than 90 public schools.
Throughout her career, Chrissy has demonstrated a deep commitment to equity, child development, and family-centered care. Her experience includes roles as Head of School at Fusion Academy, Director of Business Development at the Center for Independent Futures, and guidance counselor and educator within Chicago Public Schools. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong operational expertise, and passion for building confident learners.
